ABC’s "Nightline" is set to launch an hourlong prime-time edition later this month. B&C reports that the show will premiere Wednesday, May 29.

The program will have the 10 p.m. time period, and will focus on consumer issues, such as coverage of products and trends and providing ideas for avoiding costly mistakes, the story says.

Cynthia McFadden and Bill Weir will anchor, with other ABC News correspondents joining in. The program will air until the end of summer.
