The revived online versions of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" are having their schedules cut back. The New York Post reports that the shows will be cut back to twice-a-week airings starting Monday.

Both shows debuted April 29 on Hulu and iTunes, and they have been running four times a week. The decision to cut back to twice a week was made to avoid overloading viewers with content, according to producers.

"All My Children" will air new shows on Mondays and Wednesdays, while "One Life to Live" will air its new installments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“In the past these shows had their vast majority of views within the first 24 hours,” Jeff Kwatinetz and Rich Frank of production company Prospect Park said in a statement. “Instead, our shows are primarily consumed on different days than when they originally air.

“Primarily, fans have been binge-viewing or watching on demand, and as a result, we feel we have been expecting our audience to dedicate what has turned out to be an excessive amount of time to viewing these shows.”
