‘Voice’ Coaches: Who’s In, Who’s Out at the NBC Singing Competition?

The coaches’ picture is becoming clearer at the NBC singing competition “The Voice.” TheWrap.com reports that CeeLo Green is in advanced talks to return for the fifth season of the show, while Christina Aguilera has already signed her contract to return to the show.

Aguilera will be paid $12.5 million for her fifth-season appearance, although she could earn as much as $17 million, depending on how many hours she works, the story says. She reportedly earned $17 million when she was a coach on the show’s third season. Coaches on "The Voice" are paid by the hour.

Green won’t make close to what Aguilera is pulling in, however, the story says. The show is also still negotiating with coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who will likely return.

Aguilera and Green both announced their departures from the show last December, with Shakira and Usher replacing them.

Shakira is leaving the show after just one season, according to Deadline.com.
