Kelsey Grammer is teaming with another big name in comedy for his next TV project. FX ordered an untitled sitcom starring Grammer and Martin Lawrence as Chicago lawyers, EW.com’s Inside TV reports.

The order is set up akin to the deal FX made with Charlie Sheen for "Anger Management." If the show, which comes from Lionsgate Television and its Debmar-Mercury, meets certain ratings goals during its first 10-episode run, the network will automatically order an additional 90 episodes.

The comedy is fom Bob Boyett of "Family Matters" and Robert Horn of "Living Single," the story adds, and depicts two attorneys who meet on what’s described as the worst day of their lives.

  1. would rather have seen Grammer in something that would have been measurably more intelligent and sophisticated… therefore actually funny! Thinking Boston Legal with Spader and Shatner. From the team that made Full House and Family Mattters? What is Kelsey thinking?
