CBS Airs Disclaimer About Prejudice on 'Big Brother' EW
CBS has added a disclaimer to its reality show "Big Brother," which differs from the traditional TV warnings about violence or nudity in that it flags the presence of prejudice, reports EW.com's Inside TV.
The warning reads, "'Big Brother' is a reality show about a group of people who have no privacy 24/7. At times, the Houseguests may reveal prejudices and other beliefs that CBS does not condone. Views or opinions expressed by a Houseguest are those of the individuals speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS. Viewer discretion is advised.” The disclosure accompanied the show's Sunday airing.
As previously reported, the show drew attention when several houseguests were captured making racist and homophobic comments on its live feed.
