One of the stars of cable business news channel CNBC is shopping around for job offers. The New York Post reports that Maria Bartiromo is talking with other channels in advance of the expiration of her five-year contract with CNBC, set to end later this year.

Bartiromo, 45, is using a "negotiating window" to discuss potential deals with CNN and Fox Business Network, among other channels, the story says. CNBC has suffered a ratings decline, as has her show, the piece notes.

Bartiromo reportedly earns between $2 million and $3 million a year, and has worked at CNBC since 1993. A representative for CNBC said, "She is under contract with CNBC," while CNN had no comment. A spokeswoman for FBN said, "There are no serious discussions going on.”
