A dislocated shoulder has sidelined a music superstar. The injury happened during the making of a music video, according to a number of media reports.
According to the New York Daily News, Mariah Carey was "inside nightclub Avenue in [the Manhattan neighborhood of] Chelsea from the early morning hours till she wrapped early in the evening, filming a music video for the Young Jeezy remix version of her hit single '#Beautiful,' which also features Miguel.
"An on-set source tells [the Daily News] that during filming, while dancing and singing in towering high heels, Carey toppled over and dislocated her shoulder."
A story by the Associated Press says Carey was then taken to a New York hospital (not named in the article) where, according to Carey's rep, " 'doctors reset her shoulder' and that 'she is fine.' "
