'Rizzoli & Isles' Off-Net Run Sold in 95% of U.S. TVWeek
Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution announced today that it has locked up deals for a broadcast weekend off-net window for “Rizzoli & Isles” in 95% of the country for a fall 2015 premiere.
Ken Werner, President, and Rick Meril, Executive Vice President & General Sales Manager, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, made the announcement.
"The series has been sold into 170 markets including stations owned by Fox, CBS, Sinclair, Hearst, Gannett, Lin, Local TV, Cox, Raycom, Weigel, Meredith, Mission, Nexstar, New Age, Journal, Scripps, Gray, Grant, Max Media, London, West Virginia, Media, Lockwood, Drewry, Cordillera, Bonten, Bahakel, Citadel, Diversified, Woods, Schurz and Mckinnon," the announcement says.
The TNT show's fourth season debuted June 25 and was the highest-rated cable premiere of the summer, the announcement notes. "It is among the top 10 basic cable dramas of all time with adults 25-54 -- out of 165 original dramas -- and TNT’s #3 rated original series ever with adults 25-54 in the history of the cable network," the release notes.
