1970s TV Superhero Joins 'Two and a Half Men' EW
An actress known for playing a superhero on television in the 1970s will be back in prime time as a part of the CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men." EW.com reports that Lynda Carter, known for her role in "Wonder Woman," is joining the sitcom.
Carter will play "a version of herself" in the upcoming season 11, the story reports.
The report adds: "The set-up: Alan (Jon Cryer) has a massive Carter crush going back to her days as an actress on the original 'Wonder Woman' series (1975-79). He gets to meet her in person and, well, you’ll have to tune in to see what happens next. 'Men' is getting an overhaul this fall as Amber Tamblyn joins the show as Charlie’s lesbian daughter, who moves in with Alan and Walden (Ashton Kutcher). The show returns Sept. 26 at 9:30 p.m."
