CNN has announced staff changes involving some high-profile Washington correspondents, B&C reports. Among the personnel moves, Jessica Yellin, who has been working as the network’s chief White House correspondent, is promoted to chief domestic affairs correspondent and will also be a substitute anchor.

"Dividing up the White House beat will be Brianna Keilar and Jim Acosta, who will be senior White House correspondents. Keilar has been a White House correspondent since 2008, and before that covered Congress, while Acosta has been national political correspondent," the story reports.

The piece adds that Rene Marsh, who has been reporting for CNN Newsource since last year, was named aviation and government regulation correspondent.

In a statement, CNN Washington Bureau Chief Sam Feist said: "With these changes, CNN’s Washington team of correspondents will be even better positioned to deliver on our core missions of breaking news and enterprise reporting."
