'Dancing with the Stars' Regular Will Sit Out Next Season EW
ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" is losing one of its regular performers for a season. EW.com's Inside TV reports that professional ballroom dancer Kym Johnson will miss the 17th season of the dance competition.
The dancer will return for the 18th season in the spring, after working on a project in her home country of Australia, the story reports.
Johnson, 37, "is known for the regal presence she lends to traditional ballroom routines as well as an endlessly kind and patient demeanor in her dealings with celebrity partners," the piece reports.
