An NBC series hit a season high Monday night in the key 18-49 demo, based on Nielsen overnights, but it was a CBS series that won the night.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that NBC’s "American Ninja Warrior" rose two-tenths of a ratings point from a week ago to a 1.7 average in viewers 18-49, the show’s best number of the season. CBS’s "Under the Dome," meanwhile, ticked up one-tenth from a week ago to a 2.5, keying a win by CBS for prime time overall.

CBS filled up the other two hours of prime time with comedy reruns. NBC aired fresh installments of "Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls" (up two-tenths from last week’s series low to a 1.3 average in 18-49) and "Siberia" (0.7 average, matching last week).

ABC’s only fresh program was "Mistresses," which rose one-tenth from last week’s series low to a 1.0 in the 18-49 demo.

Fox aired an all-repeat lineup.

For prime time overall, CBS led the broadcast networks with a 1.7 average in adults 18-49, followed by Univision (1.4 average), NBC (1.2), ABC (0.9) and Fox (0.8). CBS came in well ahead of the pack in total viewers, averaging 6.8 million to lead NBC (3.9 million), ABC (3.7 million), Univision (3.7 million) and Fox (1.9 million).
