MTV has announced four new reality shows, including one the network is working on as the "Untitled Virgins Project," which is about young virgins struggling with temptation, the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports.

"Luckily, MTV isn’t putting them all in the same house together, otherwise, their premise would likely be thrown out the window pretty quickly," the story notes.

The network has explored similar territory in the past with the reality series "Engaged & Underage," which was about virgin couples and aired in 2007.

Other new shows include two about a subject that has been proliferating throughout the TV reality universe: food. "House of Food" is a reality series focusing on chefs competing in food-related competitions, while "Snackdown" will ask chefs to turns snack foods into "culinary masterpieces," the piece notes.

The other new show is "The Ex and the Why," which will track young men and women as they deal with issues from past romances, the story notes.
