Fallout From 'Anger Management' Spat Between Charlie Sheen and Selma Blair, as Blair Threatens to Sue TMZ
Actress Selma Blair is reportedly threatening a retaliation lawsuit against Charlie Sheen and Lionsgate Entertainment after getting the boot from “Anger Management," TMZ.com reports.
The website reports that Blair believes she was targeted after criticizing Sheen “for being a slacker.”
“She repeatedly complained to the crew that everyone had to sit around and wait while Charlie sat in his trailer and learned his lines,” the story says.
Sheen was apparently told of Blair’s comments, leading to her ouster from his FX show.
“Charlie got wind of Selma's beef and she believes that's when the die was cast,” the story reports. “Our sources say Selma's now demanding the $1.2 mil she would have made if she would have continued working ... and if she doesn't get it she's filing a lawsuit.”
TMZ notes that Blair appeared in three or four scenes per show, while Sheen appeared in all 12 scenes per show and had to memorize nearly 50 pages of dialogue per episode.
Said an unnamed source on the show: "When you work 12 hours a day and have 3 girlfriends at home, it's hard to memorize all the lines for tomorrow."
The story adds that lawyers for Blair and Lionsgate are trying to reach a settlement.
