‘Fox & Friends’ Enjoys Ratings Bump During Hasselbeck’s First Week

The Fox News Channel’s morning show "Fox & Friends" saw its ratings rise during Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s first week on the show, reports TheWrap.com.

The cable show was up 10% week-over-week in the news demographic of adults 25-54, the story notes. MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" was up 17% in the demo during the same time frame. On CNN, meanwhile, "New Day" was down 12% week-to-week.

The Fox show averaged 278,000 viewers in the news demo during the week, up from 252,000 the previous week. Numbers for MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" were 145,000, up from 124,000; and CNN’s "New Day" dipped to 94,000, from 107,000 a week earlier.

"Fox News boasts an 18% increase in the demo from Q3-to-date since Hasselbeck joined," the report notes. "During the same time period, ‘New Day’ is down 15% while ‘Morning Joe’ is up 12% in the demo."
