'Mad Men' Star Jon Hamm to Undergo Surgery TV Guide
Jon Hamm, the star of the AMC drama series "Mad Men," will undergo surgery next week. TVGuide.com reports that the actor faces what the report describes as a "routine outpatient procedure" to remove a polyp from his throat.
Hamm was up for outstanding actor in a drama series at Sunday's Emmy Awards, but lost out to Jeff Daniels of HBO's "The Newsroom."
The first half of the final season of "Mad Men" will debut next year.
