Upcoming Season of 'Homeland' Has a Piracy Problem Deadline

"Homeland" has become a victim of online piracy, with the Showtime drama's third-season premiere leaked online before its Sept. 29 airdate, reports Deadline.com.

More than 100,000 users of the file-sharing site BitTorrent have reportedly downloaded the episode, while "Homeland" producer 20th Century Fox's anti-piracy unit is working on pulling the episode, according to the report. The online version is said to be a workprint and missing opening credits.

The episode was shown last month at the Television Critics Association press tour, the piece notes.
