"Parks and Recreation" showrunner Michael Schur has reupped his deal with Universal TV, extending until 2016, reports The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.
The deal comes as Fox is about to debut his second comedy, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Meanwhile, NBC’s "Parks and Recreation" is about to enter its sixth season.
"Mike is a wildly talented writer and, hands-down, one of the best showrunners in the business,” Universal TV exec VP Bela Bajaria said in a statement.
