The three adult children of radio legend Casey Kasem have filed legal papers to request conservatorship over their father’s health care, reports People magazine.

The children allege that their stepmother, actress Jean Kasem, has blocked access to their father. As previously reported, Casey Kasem is said to be in dire condition with advanced Parkinson’s.

The magazine said it wasn’t able to reach Jean Kasem or her attorney for comment.

The children "insist the feud has nothing to do with money because they’re all ‘self-sufficient and are not listed in his will anyway,’ daughter Kerri, 41, previously said," according to the story.

The children say they simply want to see their father, and have accused Jean Kasem of standing in the way of their access to Casey Kasem for the past three months.
