"CSI" is bringing back a star who stepped away from the series in August following a dispute with a writer. TheWrap.com reports that George Eads, who plays Nick Stokes on the cop show, has returned to the production.

As previously reported, Eads took a leave of absence from the CBS drama after he got into a dispute with a writer who was eight months pregnant.

Eads, who has played Stokes since the show’s pilot episode in 2000, has since returned to work on the show, the piece reports. He will next be seen on an episode slated to air Nov. 20, adds EW.com’s Inside TV. His absence won’t be addressed on the show, the piece notes.
