'Modern Family' Opens Its Syndication Run With a Bang B&C, Deadline
Besides being a ratings hit in its first run on ABC, "Modern Family" is now a hit in syndication. B&C reports that the comedy's off-network run opened at a 4.1 live plus same day national household rating for the week ended Sept. 29.
"That marks the second-highest syndication debut in 10 years, behind only Warner Bros.' 'The Big Bang Theory,' which premiered in 2011 at a 4.5," the story reports.
The ABC comedy also scored high with women, earning the No. 1 spot with women among all syndication debuts in more than a decade, Deadline.com reports.
