"The Voice" judge CeeLo Green will be cleared of charges that he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman by putting a drug in her drink, reports TMZ.com.

The Los Angeles County D.A. was expected to formally reject the sexual assault case this morning, although it will reportedly charge him with the felony of providing ecstasy, the story notes.

As previously reported, Green became the target of an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after a woman alleged that the singer sexually assaulted her. Green was adamant that he didn’t do anything wrong.

The authorities found problems in the woman’s story, one of which was that she and Green had allegedly been dating for months, the story says. Green reportedly urged the authorities to fully investigate, and the D.A. planned to reject the sexual assault case because of lack of sufficient evidence, the story notes.
