Two franchises from Esquire magazine have been greenlighted as television productions. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that the magazine sections "Women We Love" and "Best Bars in America" will join Esquire Network’s programming lineup as specials this season.

"Women We Love" is a monthly feature in the print magazine, and will air coinciding with the magazine’s "Sexiest Woman Alive" issue in November, the story says. The air date for the special is Nov. 19.

"Best Bars in America" will feature comedians Jay Larson and Sean Patton as they visit bars showcased in the magazine’s feature. It will air in December.

"Both [specials] are perfect examples of how our partnership with Esquire offers the opportunity to extend some of their most popular features on air in ways that are really engaging and compelling,” said Matt Hanna, head of original programming at the network.
