Viewer Turnout for Cable Juggernaut’s Finale Is Nothing to Quack About

Is the joyride over for the cable juggernaut “Duck Dynasty”? After a hot start to the fourth season, the A&E hit drew fewer viewers to its season finale than it did for the closer to the previous season, TheWrap.com reports.

The reality show drew 8.4 million total viewers for its Wednesday finale, down from the 9.6 million who watched the show’s third-season finale in April, the story adds.

“The most recent season of the A&E hit got off to a quacking good start in August, pulling in 11.8 million total viewers — setting a cable record as the most-watched non-fiction series telecast,” the piece notes.
