With CBS working on a reboot of the witch drama "Charmed," it turns out there are a few people who are less than excited about the idea: the original show’s stars, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker.

As we reported Monday, CBS is developing the reboot of "Charmed," which ran on The WB from 1998 to 2006 and starred Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs. Shannen Doherty also starred during part of the run. The show was one of the WB Network’s most popular programs.

"The thing about them doing a #charmed reboot is… it just… it feels like yesterday. It feels too close," Milano wrote on Twitter on Friday. She currently appears on ABC’s "Mistresses" and on Lifetime’s "Project Runway: All Stars."

Another former co-star also chimed in, with McGowan writing on Twitter, "They really are running out of ideas in Hollywood." She added, "lame lame lame lamertons."
