NBC is touting the ratings results for a late-night show, noting that the program beat everything on broadcast prime on Saturday night, Nov. 16. The program is “Saturday Night Live,” which got a sizable bump from host and musical guest Lady Gaga.

The broadcast delivered the highest “SNL” household rating since March 9 and the show’s best results in the key demo of viewers 18-49 and in total viewers since Oct. 5, the network said.

"Last week’s episode earned a 2.4 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall and a 4.3 rating in households," NBC announced. "Those results were #1 for the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, besting every Saturday prime-time program on the Big 4 networks in all three categories."

The network added: "It was the highest ‘SNL’ rating in households since March 9 (with a 5.2 for an edition hosted by Justin Timberlake, who was also musical guest). The Nov. 16 averages in 18-49 and total viewers are the show’s highest since Oct. 5 (with host and musical guest Miley Cyrus, 2.7/12 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall)."

The figures are based on Nielsen Media Research “live plus same day” national viewing data.
