NBC Pulls Off a Ratings Achievement It Hasn’t Done in 10 Years

NBC is touting a ratings achievement it hasn’t pulled off since 2003. The Peacock Network announced that it won the November sweeps in the key 18-49 demo, marking the second consecutive November sweeps win for NBC. It was the first time NBC has won back-to-back November sweeps since 2002-2003.

The network also boasts the No. 1 program of the sweeps in the 18-49 demo, "Sunday Night Football," along with the No. 1 unscripted (non-sports) series, "The Voice," and the top new series, "The Blacklist."

NBC has four of the top eight prime-time series on the big four networks in the 18-49 demo for the sweeps period, with "Sunday Night Football" coming in at No. 1 in every key category.

With three nights left to be counted in the sweeps period, NBC leads the month by an 18% margin in viewers 18-49. If that number holds up, it would represent the biggest percentage win for any network in a November sweeps period since 2002.

The month is also NBC’s highest November in total viewers since 2007.
