A television personality who has become a familiar face in prime time is poised to be named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Earshot reports that "The Voice" judge and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine will receive the honor.

Levine was asked about it on Friday’s "Today" show but appeared reluctant to address the question, the story reports. He noted, "It would be an interesting idea … I know nothing."

Levine follows Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds as the magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, the piece notes. The singer recently became engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo.
