AMC has responded to Frank Darabont and CAA’s lawsuit over “The Walking Dead,” calling its claims baseless, reports Deadline.com.

As previously reported, Darabont and his agency alleged that AMC engaged in “self dealing” by low-balling the license fee, with the lawsuit also claiming that Darabont was wrongfully fired from the show.

“In a dry point-by-point 10-page retort filed [Thursday] in the Supreme Court of New York, AMC denied all of the plaintiffs’ claims and asked for the case to be dismissed,” the story reports.

A representative for the network told the publication, “We look forward to demonstrating through the legal process that this is a baseless lawsuit built on claims that have no merit.”
