Disney World has just unveiled its hefty new single-day admission price. The New York Post reports that the theme park bumped up the price to $99, up about 15% from last spring, and marking the second fee increase in seven months.
The Walt Disney World park in Orlando, Fla., started charging $99 on Feb. 23 for single-day admission, while a four-day pass jumped 15% to $294. The price hike comes after the park upped its fees last May, the story adds.
Disney typically raises its prices in early June, as the school year ends and families plan vacations. The February increase may be a result of East Coast families eager to make reservations after a brutally cold winter, and the success of “Frozen,” which might be encouraging families and children interested in visiting, the piece adds.
