Former 'SNL' Star Arrested USA Today

A former star of NBC's late-night sketch comedy show "Saturday Night Live" has been arrested. USA Today reports that comedic actor Chris Kattan was arrested early today in Encino, Calif., for allegedly driving under the influence.

Kattan reportedly was weaving and ran into a state truck in a construction zone on the 101 freeway. He was taken into custody a little before 2 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

"Kattan's Mercedes-Benz was weaving and going at a slow rate of speed before the crash," the story reports. "The 'A Night at the Roxbury' star approached the road closure, crossed over cones and struck the vehicle from behind, according to the CHP."

No injuries reportedly occurred in the crash.

Kattan was one of the stars of "SNL" from 1996-2003, originating characters such as Mango and Gay Hitler. Along with fellow cast member Will Ferrell, he formed half of the Butabi Brothers.
