One of the stars of the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones” will play a major role on Fox’s upcoming "24" project. EW.com’s Inside TV reports that Michelle Fairley will take on the role that was vacated by three-time Emmy winner Judy Davis.

Fairley, who played Catelyn Stark on "Thrones" for three seasons, will take over the role of Margo in "24: Live Another Day." Davis left the production for personal reasons, as we reported earlier this month.

Fairley’s character is the British widow of a terrorist. The reboot will bring back Kiefer Sutherland in his role as Jack Bauer, who is exiled from the U.S. but risks his life to avert a global disaster. The project is set and shot in London.
