‘Entourage’ Movie Going Forward Despite Star’s Broken Leg

The long-awaited "Entourage" movie appeared to suffer a setback when one of the stars broke his leg in two places last week while playing football on the set, but Dominic Patten reports on Deadline.com that the production has continued uninterrupted.

Actor Kevin Connolly was playing football Wednesday with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who has a cameo in the movie, when the accident happened. Connolly plays Eric, or "E," best friend and manager to Adrian Grenier’s Vince, in "Entourage."

“Connolly immediately iced his leg, I’m told, and went back to work to do the next scene soon afterward," Patten writes. "He showed up for work the next day, and production on the movie based on the long-running HBO Hollywood hustle series has not been interrupted at all."

The movie is slated to open on June 12, 2015, or four years after the show ended on HBO.
