Leah Remini Gets a TV Series LA Times
Leah Remini, the former “King of Queens” star who has been making headlines lately for her highly publicized break from the Church of Scientology, is getting a reality show on TLC, the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports.
The 12-episode series will track Remini at home, the network said.
“Leah is a no-nonsense, hard-working, relatable mom, wife, daughter, and sister. Her sharp humor and unfiltered family are a perfect match for the network,” Nancy Daniels, the network’s general manager, said in a statement. “This series continues our focus on creating compelling series about remarkable families, using heart and humor to anchor it to the TLC brand.”
Production started this week, with TLC planning a summer debut.
