'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Promotes Two Actors to Regulars Deadline
The Fox comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has promoted two actors to regulars for its second season. Deadline.com reports that Joel McKinnon Miller, who plays Detective Scully, and Dirk Blocker, who plays Detective Hitchcock, received promotions.
The characters “have been standout characters,” with Scully as the “bumbling veteran of the police force who serves as the office’s punching bag” and Detective Hitchcock frequently taking off his shirt, the story reports.
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” which received an early renewal, has won Golden Globe Awards for Best Comedy Series and Comedy Actor for star Andy Samberg.
