When you try to think of the longest-running shows currently on television, this one may not be among the first to pop into your head, but the news that FXX has renewed "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia" for two more seasons will make the sitcom one of the longest-running live-action comedies in TV history, WGGB.com reports.

The cable network announced today that it will bring back "Sunny" for seasons 11 and 12.

"The double season renewal comes as part of a three-year production deal with 'Sunny' stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton," the website reports.

The report adds: "The deal also includes a 10-episode series order for an untitled Tracy Morgan project, created by McElhenney, Day, Howerton and Luvh Rakhe, who will also serve as showrunners. The series will be paired with the 10th season of 'Sunny' for an expected launch date of January 2015."

In connection with the deal, FX ordered a comedy pilot and placed script order for "Harder," co-written by Howerton, "We’re Good, Thanks," written by Day, Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Artemis Pebdani (with Ellis and Pebdani attached to star), and "Blow Up Dolls," written by and starring Sarah Solemani, the report notes.
