A modern-day take on a classic story that's in the works at Disney has added some major star power. The Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed reports that Jay Leno and Whoopi Goldberg will add their voices to "The 7D," an updated version of "The Seven Dwarfs."

"Set in the world of Jollywood, 'The 7D' — debuting Monday, July 7, at 10 a.m. ET/PT on Disney XD — follows brave heroes Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy and Doc as they work together to maintain order in the kingdom. Standing in their way are Grim and Hildy Gloom, a novice warlock and witch couple, who plot to dethrone the Queen and take over the town," THR reports.

Leno, who continues to maintain a relatively high profile following his departure from "The Tonight  Show," will have a recurring role as the voice of the Crystal Ball, while Goldberg will play the Magic Mirror.

"They join previously announced voice cast led by Kelly Osbourne. Other cast members include Jess Harnell, Leigh-ALlyn Baker, Bill Farmer, Maurice LaMarche, Kevin Michael Richardson, Dee Bradley Baker, Scott Menville, Stephen Stanton, Billy West and Paul Rugg," THR reports.

The first episode of "The 7D" will launch ahead of the TV premiere with a free iTunes preview June 23.
