An interview on “Nancy Grace Tonight” that aired Wednesday night on HLN sparked outrage after the show's host focused on allegations of steroid usage during a discussion of the death of WWE champion The Ultimate Warrior.

TheWrap.com reports that Grace angered some viewers and her guest, WWE star Diamond Dallas Page, after she raised speculation that James Hellwig, known as The Ultimate Warrior, died at 54 because of steroid use when he was younger.

Page later took to Twitter to write that he regretted going on the program.

“I went on Nancy Grace last night expecting to discuss Warrior the man,” Page tweeted. “Had I known the only topic discussed would be steroids I would not have participated. At the time I was also unaware of the list that was shown to the viewing audience.”

Grace featured a list of wrestlers who died young, with the implication that the deaths were linked to drug use, the story says. The list included Owen Hart, who died in an accident at a 1999 WWE event.

Wrestling fans were angered by the insinuation that Hart had died of steroid abuse and started the hashtag #CancelNancyGrace, the story notes.

Smith Hart, the brother of Owen Hart, posted a statement on Facebook that said in part: "I think our beloved sister-in-law Martha as well as my entire family should be tremendously offended by the implication of Nancy Grace that my brother Owen's demise had anything to do with drugs or steroids. For her to attempt to capitalize on Warrior's death while his family grieves for personal choices he may have made more than 20 years ago is a sad to day for what passes as journalism today."
