A+E Networks' new lifestyle channel ordered two pilots ahead of its planned July 7 launch. The company announced that the channel, FYI, picked up “You’re the One” (working title) and “Marry Me…Today” (working title).

Jana Bennett, president of FYI and LMN, made the announcement. Production was set to begin immediately on the two unscripted shows.

"From the high-school sweetheart that relocated to the holiday romance that fizzled — 'You’re the One' follows men and women as they embark on an emotionally charged mission that spans the globe, in search of a lost love," the announcement notes. "Through social and mass media, communities around the world are mobilized to engage in the hunt, with twists and turn as new information is revealed and road-blocks are eliminated, all leading up to the final heart-wrenching face to face meeting. Will the spark still be there, will they recognize each other, or perhaps the object of their long-held affection has been harboring the same feelings? 'You’re the One' is hosted by acclaimed journalist and documentarian Cherry Healey."

"You're the One" comes from Nerd TV.

The release says “Marry Me…Today,” a production of 44 Blue and digital wedding leader The Knot, "follows an ambitious groom-to-be as he surprises his girlfriend with the most exciting, whirlwind day of their lives — getting engaged, and then married, all in one breathless day. By secretly tapping into his partner’s digital 'inspiration boards,' this resourceful boyfriend will use his girlfriend's online wish list — from her dream engagement ring to the cake to her gown and the venue — to plan and execute her fantasy wedding. It’s a breakthrough wedding concept, for the modern generation."
