NBC has added a seven-time Grammy Award winner to the cast of its singing competition "The Voice." The Los Angeles Times' Show Tracker reports that singer-songwriter, rapper and producer Pharrell Williams is joining the show as a coach.

Williams has appeared previously on “The Voice,” serving as a mentor for Usher’s team in its fourth season. Williams will appear on the show’s seventh season, with the rest of the coaching lineup not yet set for the season, the piece reports.

Williams also earned an Oscar nomination for his song “Happy,” which was used in “Despicable Me 2.”
