The creator of the hit HBO comedy series "Sex and the City" has a new cable comedy. Deadline.com reports that Darren Star received a 12-episode order from TV Land for “Younger,” which will star Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff.

The series will debut in the fall and marks the first show for TV Land that will be produced in New York, where Star’s “Sex and the City” was taped and set.

“There’s nothing better than making a single-camera film comedy in New York — and I’m thrilled to be doing this one with TV Land,” Star said.

The project will star Foster as a 40-year-old woman named Liza who realizes she’s facing a tough time entering the work force at her age. She decides to pass herself off as 26, and lands a job as an assistant. Duff will play a 20-something co-worker.

“‘Younger’s' serialized style is different for us, yet fits our brand with its humor and relatability,” said TV Land President Larry W. Jones. “Everyone at TV Land is so passionate about this show and working with Darren.”
