A series that was recently canceled by VH1 is getting a second chance. The Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports that Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment company has struck a deal with BET Network’s Centric network to revive “Single Ladies."

Flavor Unit, which produces the romantic comedy series, has a deal to produce new shows for Centric as well as to revive “Single Ladies.” Centric is described as the first network aimed at black women.

It’s unclear whether any of the “Single Ladies” cast will return for the next season, the story notes. The third-season finale of the program, which is about three female best friends, aired last month on VH1.

Centric will also air episodes of Queen Latifah’s syndicated daytime talk show as part of the deal.
