‘Duck Dynasty’ Patriarch Has More to Say About ‘Homosexual Offenders’

The outspoken patriarch of the Robertson clan featured on A&E's "Duck Dynasty" hasn't given up on expressing his views on homosexuality. USA Today reports that Phil Robertson brought up the subject while delivering an Easter Sunday sermon April 20 at Whites Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, La., his hometown.

A video of the sermon is "making the rounds," the report notes. We'll post it below.

"Robertson seems to be mentioning the GQ article that caused controversy last year when he made anti-gay remarks and was put 'on hiatus' from the A&E show for a short period of time," USA Today reports.

The piece quotes Robertson saying about 8 minutes into the talk: “You say, why’d they get mad at you? ‘Cuz instead of acknowledging their sin, like you had better do, they railed against me for giving them the truth about their sins. Don’t deceive yourselves.”

Robertson reportedly adds: “Is homosexual behavior a sin? The guy asked me. I said, do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived.”

He then adds: “Neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolators, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

As we reported previously, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is scheduled to be a part of the show's sixth-season premiere, set for June 11.
