Report: ‘Real Housewives’ Haven’t Made Good on Charity Pledge

In the final segment of a three-part “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, two of the stars — NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore — pledged to donate $20,000 each to the Detroit Public Schools, but that vow hasn’t yet been fulfilled, reports TheWrap.com.

The show was taped two months ago, and aired about two weeks ago. The pledge came after the two argued over Leakes’ behavior at a charitable event.

“Since you felt that I behaved so badly at your charity event, I will do this for you,” Leakes said. “Let's put our differences aside for a day of charity. You pick the charity of your choice. I will donate $20,000, and you match me.” The two picked the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.

The president of the foundation told TheWrap, "To date we have not received any funds from these individuals.”

Requests for comment from Leakes’ manager and Moore’s representatives hadn’t been returned, the publication notes.
