The CBS reality show “Big Brother” has just launched its newest season, and the series already has a racism scandal on its hands, TheWrap.com reports.

The issue arose Wednesday, which was the premiere day for the show's 16th season, when it was reported that contestant Caleb Reynolds allegedly posted a statement on Instagram that included offensive terms referring to gays and black people, the story notes.

The Instagram statement, which has been taken down, allegedly called President Obama a “Muslim monkey” and used a homophobic slur, according to TMZ.com.

The reality show isn’t a stranger to offensive behavior from its cast members. Last summer, contestant Aaryn Gries caused an issue with reports that she had made offensive comments, such as calling one contestant a “queer,” TheWrap report notes.

CBS had no comment, the story adds.
