The CW is expanding its original programming to Saturdays, with a new family block that will air in the morning, reports TheWrap.

The network will air 10 live-action shows on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon, including a family-focused version of “Dog Whisperer,” the story notes. The block, branded as “One Magnificent Morning,” will start airing Oct. 4, and will be created in partnership with Litton Entertainment.

“We're very excited to work with Litton Entertainment for a new Saturday morning block of live-action, educational shows that both children and parents will love,” said CW executive vice president John Maatta in a statement. “‘One Magnificent Morning’ is a terrific addition to the CW's Saturday lineup.”

Other shows include “Expedition Wild,” which will feature a wildlife expert learning about animals and their habitats, and “Rock the Park,” which will look at the national parks.
