Two new one-hour strips and a new half-hour weekly series will get a tryout this summer on the Fox Television Stations, B&C reports.

The strips are "Hollywood Today Live" and "The Daily Help Line," and the weekly is "Laughs." The programs will air on selected stations in a number of markets, including New York and Los Angeles.

"Hollywood Today Live" and "The Daily Help Line" are set to premiere July 14, with "Laughs" to roll out Aug. 2. If the shows are picked up, Twentieth TV will distribute them nationally.

In a statement, Frank Cicha, senior VP of programming for Fox TV Stations, said: “Our schedules are heavily populated with former tests, so this is exciting — more test shows, with more of our stations participating than ever before. It’s all about increasing our chances of finding fresh, economically viable building blocks for our lineups. And if they all fail, see you next summer!”

"Hollywood Today Live" comes from BiteSize Entertainment Networks and focuses on celebrity and pop culture news. The show has four hosts: Kristen Brockman, AJ Gibson, Tanner Thomason, and Porscha Coleman.

"'The Daily Help Line,' hosted by Miles Adcox and Spirit, takes calls for advice from callers, tweeters, social-media followers, in-studio audience members and guests," the story reports. "In many episodes, the two hosts will be joined by celebrities, including Marie Osmond, Tom Green, TLC’s Tionne Watkin, Loni Love, Tabatha Coffey and Brandy. Matt Lutz will serve as executive producer."

"Laughs" looks back on the week in comedy, hosted and executive produced by Steve Hofstetter.
