One of the stars of the hit HBO fantasy series "Game of Thrones" is reportedly forbidden from cutting his hair. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the drama, made the revelation during an appearance on “Live! With Kelly and Michael.”

“I didn’t realize this until recently and then I kind of, I wanted to cut it — I’ve had long hair for ages — and they were like, ‘No, no, no, that won’t be happening,’” he said.

The hair situation, he said, has led to “ridiculous conversations … between agents and managers and HBO.”

Talking about some of those discussions, Harington said: “Can we have four inches off or can we have an inch off? What can we do with this? How curly should it be? It gets silly.”

Harington's hair also reportedly has a Twitter account devoted to it.
