A former star of the hit MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” was reportedly arrested after a fight at a tanning salon. TMZ.com reports that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was arrested after allegedly getting into a brawl with his brother.

The brothers reportedly co-own the business, the Boca Tanning Salon in Middletown, N.J.

"We're told cops got a 911 call reporting a 'fist fight' inside the salon … and when officers arrived — Sitch was arrested, and eventually booked for simple assault. He posted $500 bail … and on the way out he explained he and his bro, Frank, were scrapping over how to run the business," the TMZ story reports.

The website reported a week ago that employees of the salon had called the police after their paychecks bounced. TMZ reported at the time that employees received their pay after police warned about possible criminal charges.

"Sources close to The Situation tell TMZ … he was surprised to hear the employees took their complaints to the police since the payroll problem only lasted a few days," TMZ reported last week. "He says it was just an innocent mixup because the store changed payroll companies."
