TLC has apologized for sending an expletive-filled episode of the reality show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” to the U.K., which violated rules against airing offensive language that kids might hear, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The British media regulator Ofcom said it received a complaint about the episode after a viewer’s 6-year-old child caught the episode, which aired at 8 p.m. In the U.K., edgier shows can air after 9 p.m.

"It noted five instances of the words “f–k” or “f–king” during the episode, 11 scenes where someone said “s–t” and one scene, in which someone used the word "b–ch,” Ofcom said in a report.

Discovery said it "extended its unreserved apologies to the viewer for any distress caused by the offensive language in this case," according to the Ofcom report. "It added that it had investigated this incident and had discovered “[r]egrettably” the program had been broadcast as a result of human error."
